Overview
GP-1000 NTP Server is a robust and compact DIN Rail mount device designed to serve GPS time to NTP clients in a network and provide accurate GPS synchronized timecode to legacy devices over its modulated and unmodulated IRIG-B outputs. It can be deployed in a wide range of environments from private networks such as Railways and Metro (ticketing and platform) networks, Telecom server racks, Data-centers, Electric Sub-Stations, Power Distribution and Transmission, that are required to maintain complete isolation from public networks for security reasons.

GP-1000 establishes a highly accurate phase-synchronized frequency and time base by synchronizing to the GPS / GNSS satellites’ atomic clocks to distribute synchronized time over packet based networks including Ethernet, Carrier Ethernet, IP and IP/MPLS Networks. The GP-1000 provides an accurate 1PPS that may be used to synchronize test equipment in lab setups. Features such as password based access, SSH as well as MD5 and SHA1 authentication for NTP requests ensures operational reliability and security. Additional features include secure remote login and firmware upgrade capabilities. GP-1000 includes complete SNMPv3 monitoring as well as support for enterprise directory services for user authentication, internal and external logging and monitoring of alarm and error messages through Syslog and e-mail alert ensures a high level of system manageability. Other features include concurrent IPv4 and IPv6 network interfaces for future network upgrades.
